What's new in v1.1
Loss-less compressed samples:
“Jet-City” version 1.1 is about 16.6GB of unique raw uncompressed data.
Using the (new) loss-less audio file compression in Kontakt 4, we were able to cut the storage space (and hard-disk streaming load) in half!
With zero fidelity loss… and at minimal CPU cost...
Fully animated/interactive User Interface:
Kontakt 4’s new script capabilites allowed us to make Jet-City’s user interface more interactive and easier to use.
Trigger View – allows you to click on each drum/cymbal to audition the sound
Kit View - LEDs light up to display left/right hand hits... as well as stick-position
Realtime/non-destructive remapping of incoming MIDI notes:
Using a custom Multi Script, any MIDI note can be remapped (changed on the fly) to any other MIDI note.
This allows you to non-destructively re-map “Jet-City” to support the GM spec, playback any MIDI files, etc…
Without affecting (breaking) the behavior of each drum/cymbal’s custom scripts.
